It's said that California has only two seasons, Spring and Summer, which is not too far off. Spring is the time of renewal and rebirth. Flowers are usually plentiful and waterfalls all over the county are flowing. In wet years we have the joy of experiencing the coho salmon in many of our streams as they come back to their spawning grounds where they were born to conceive the next generation of salmon.

Now in 2021, we are experiencing one of the worst droughts in 50 years. So the images of green hills, flowing waterfalls and fields of flowers will bring back memories of plentiful years past and wetter years to come.

These are just a sample of the splendor that is Marin!
